Wollongong and Kiama

So it’s long weekend in Australia (ANZAC day) and we decided to go on road trip to Wollongong and Kiama. Here are the highlights of our trip.

1. Visit the Nan Tien Temple
Nan Tien temple is the biggest Buddhist temple in the southern hemisphere. From Sydney it is about 1.5 hour drive. Find your inner peace here and oh there’s free vegetarian food in the temple too!

2. Check out the Kiama Blowhole
From the Nan Tien temple, Kiama Blowhole is about 35kms away, about 30 min drive. This is the largest blowhole in the world and it is located in Shell harbour city center.

3. Drive through Grand Pacific Drive
Must be one of the most scenic drive we’ve ever experienced. Shame we couldn’t find parking to take photos! 😢

4. Explore Symbio Wildlife Park
This is the highlight of our trip since we’ve been living in Australia for one eyar, and it’s our first time to see kangaroos (alive kangaroo I mean, the first time I saw kangaroo was on my plate in Darling harbour). Lots of fun here because we get to pet the roos, goats, ponies and alpacas.
